Durum Wheat Pasta
Spring water and semolina drawn from the best durum wheat available are the only ingredients of this pasta. This combined with Mennucci’s perfect workmanship and rigorous controls will guarantee an excellent quality product. Dried pasta is also in compliance with Law 580/67 as amended by DPR 187/ 01 and recent DPR 41/2013.
Pasta of durum wheat semolina extruded through Bronze
According to the traditional pasta makers, pasta that is extruded through bronze gains a specific roughness and takes on a different texture during the drying process; this obtains the highest exaltation of the characteristics of the grain.
It is a pasta that will blend perfectly with any kind of sauce, from the simplest to the most complex.
Mennucci’s ‘egg pasta’ is a combination of both the best durum wheat semolina and fresh pasteurized eggs (Category A) which are sourced from Italian farms.
Based on the customer demands, Mennucci can use eggs from land raised chickens or free-range chickens.
